Have you immigrated to Canada? Are you an international student?
We want to hear from you!
VIRCS is currently conducting a Multicultural Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign funded by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, for immigrants and newcomers. However, this one is a little different than most.
For some of us, breast cancer is a subject that remains to be quite taboo from a cultural perspective. Busyness, fear, and helplessness may be a few reasons that could hold someone back from catching early signs or seeking information.
How has your life been affected?
VIRCS want your input to help us spread knowledge and awareness around this subject! We are trying reach 500 immigrants and newcomers, both men and women before February 1st 2017.
Give our online survey a go at https://goo.gl/BbmgHH and help make a difference!

As a bonus, you can enter our draw to win an incredible prize such as a whale watching experience, $100 grocery gift card... and more!

Refugees Welcome: Friendship Fund
Published on Aug 11, 2016
Due to ongoing conflict, millions of Syrians are leaving their homes to flee violence and keep their families safe in what’s been called the worst humanitarian crisis of our time. In February 2016, we extended a warm welcome to our new neighbours with our Refugees Welcome campaign. Through the purchase of our limited edition Hand Of Friendship Soap, our customers raised $300,000 USD for the Friendship Fund. The money has been distributed to more than 35 agencies, all working to support the long-term needs of these victims of violence—about half of whom are children.
