Counter Flow Community Speaker Series

Our first guest will be Shazia Rashid, Education Director at the BC Muslim Association Victoria Branch, who will be presenting "More than just a Place of Worship" at Masjid al Iman on December 5^th, at 5:00 pm.

Shazia Rashid will explore the perceived ideology of a Mosque and the implications of the growing Muslim community in the City of Victoria.  By sharing her personal experiences in a safe and non-threatening environment, she aims to promote intercultural understanding between Muslim communities, and other cultures.
